Scientific Promotion Committee – Overview
The Scientific Promotion Committee at the College of Food Sciences / Al-Shirqat is responsible for overseeing the academic promotion process for faculty members across all departments of the college through the following:

Processing promotion requests for faculty members seeking the titles of Professor or Assistant Professor to the Central Promotion Committee at Tikrit University, after completing all requirements in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Completing promotion procedures to the rank of Lecturer after fulfilling all necessary requirements according to the established regulations.

Completing procedures for awarding the academic titles of Assistant Lecturer and Lecturer after meeting all requirements according to the regulations.

Presenting completed promotion cases to the College Council for official approval.

Following up on the issuance of promotion orders or the awarding of academic titles by the College Dean.
