Mr. Saqr Mujbil Muhammad
Head of the Studies and Planning Division
About the Division: Studies and Planning
The Studies and Planning Division is one of the key units affiliated with the Office of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs. It serves as a primary link between the college databases and the central administration of the university. The division is characterized by its scientific and technical nature, relying on specialized software to maintain and update human resources databases across the university.
The division is responsible for developing comprehensive databases that include all university staff and organizational units, continuously updated using specialized computer programs. It aims to establish an integrated statistical system that meets all administrative and academic needs. This includes preparing studies for establishing new colleges and academic departments within the university and developing and approving undergraduate curricula and their systems in line with modern academic trends.
Additionally, the division is tasked with organizing advanced training courses and overseeing training programs prepared by the colleges and institutes affiliated with the university. Its responsibilities also include updating systems related to both morning and evening undergraduate programs, as well as collecting, classifying, and analyzing statistical data to provide accurate information.
The division implements information management programs and ensures the electronic flow of data between the division and its counterparts in other universities, with continuous updates of the information. Among its critical tasks are preparing admission plans based on the university’s strategic directions, producing official statistics for students, faculty, and staff, and providing precise informational services that support other college units with statistics, training programs, and the needs of entities that rely on this data.
