Maintenance Division

The Maintenance Division is affiliated with the Office of the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs and is considered one of the important administrative divisions at the College of Food Sciences / Al-Shirqat. It is responsible for all service-related tasks in the college, including renovation, rehabilitation, additional construction, electrical work, maintenance of classrooms, garden upkeep, and all other services connected to the educational process, ensuring the provision of all necessary requirements for the success of the academic mission.

Main Objectives:

1. Maintaining general infrastructure facilities (plumbing systems, sewage, and telecommunications).

2. Ensuring the continuous operation of the electrical system (national grid – generators).

3. Providing reports on the extent of damages, work priorities, and monitoring the implementation and evaluation of tasks.

4. Preserving the college’s facilities, buildings, and gardens.

5. Maintaining the cleanliness of the college, following up on deficiencies, and rehabilitating buildings.

The Maintenance Division also serves as a liaison between the University Presidency and the Engineering Division at Tikrit University.
